I took delivery two weeks ago of a new 2019 GTS in GT Silver with Agate Grey leather. The dealer gave an extraordinary discount. I couldn’t be happier with the car. This is my fourth Porsche and I’m coming most recently from a 2014 Cayman S, also a really fun car.

Redtube
What kind of discount did you get and was it from a Porsche dealership?

I totally agree with Luv2sleep. I too, was looking for a TT, but after driving a friends GTS, I went for one. Am very happy with my decision. I highly recommend the GTS!

Slap on high flow cats and the PSE will sound even better. A simple ECU tune will put the C2 GTS in TTS territory and a more “playful” rear end.

Anyone tracked a 991 GTS and a .2 GTS back to back?

I know which is faster, but which is more "fun"?

.2 is faster by a little, dependent on driver skill of course, and "fun" is subjective....hope this does not turn into another .1 vs .2 thread.

Which is more fun is completely subjective. If you like high reving the .1 is probably the way to go it you like low end torque go with the .2.

I had a new 2016 .1 because I wanted the last of the NA, and was disappointed at the power. Traded for 2017 .2 and
have been delighted with the power ever since
Congratulations!

I agree, even the .2 Turbo is quicker

Is it really high reving though? I think the redline is 7600 on the 991.1 S, 7800 on the 991.1 GTS, and 7500 on the 991.2 GTS. That all seems about the same to me. Especially since on the tach the 991.1 (both S and GTS) show redline at 7600, and the 991.2 shows redline at 7400; which is 1 tick mark different.

It's the torque/powerband that matters, not the redline.

Yes, that is the "high reving" I was referring to.
