Default Finally jumping in

Well after lurking for quite a while, as is common for so many, I figured I'd jump in. Purchased my leftover '18 chalk C4S in December and have been loving it since. Have been infatuated with 911s since I was a kid, so it was quite a big deal and a blessing for me to get this for myself for my 40th birthday. Still surreal to finally have a generation of something that I've loved for 35 years. Had a 718 Cayman S briefly before this, and while the handling was of course superb, the feeling I have in this is just unparalleled. This is optioned with Sport Design Package, Sport Package, PSE (may be redundant listing that as I mentioned Sport Package), full leather (chalk and graphite), and glass roof (to list the most notable).

I'll include more pics after my HRE order arrives in about a month. Went with the HRE RC104 in gloss black (we'll see if I'm kicking myself from a maintenance standpoint later regarding that finish. Although I already didn't pick the easiest maintenance color with chalk ) . Also awaiting my new 4" slash cut SOUL exhaust tips in satin black, and I'll be debadging the rear to only PORSCHE in the matte black lettering (badging is currently chrome). Wanting to do the SOUL sport cats in the very near future as well!

Won't ramble on but glad to be officially on the boards and looking forward to interacting with all of you.

Good to be here, everyone!

Beautiful car. How about some photos of the interior? Also, I highly recommend the Soul Sport Cats to pair up with your PSE. You won't regret them!

Thanks everyone! Koven, you're absolutely right about that! I'll be sure to post more pics once all the mods are installed. Baba Ghanoush, thanks for the tip. I'm adding an interior pic (of rather poor quality) from my second posting attempt yesterday:

lighting is poor as it was in the garage

Welcome. Great looking car. Did you also join PCA? I see ATX as location - assuming Austin? I'm in Houston. The Austin Schnell fest was supposed to be this month, but postponed to September. It's 3 track days on the COTA F1 track for HPDE. I'll be there if everythign reopens.

Best

Nice, and be sure to get some clear side markers, which will be the cheapest thing you'll buy for the car but one of the nicest.

Thanks everyone!!! CarreraJImmy, Yes, I'm in Austin. I did join PCA as well and had seen the Schnell Fest was postponed! I certainly plan to attend whenever it's back on. I'll actually be going to COTA this coming Sunday for a socially-distanced food drive (everyone remains in their vehicle) that will include a parade lap on the track for donations.

Rockrdude, I do like these wheels! BUT, the HREs were calling me.

Bob Z., I actually changed to the clear markers just two days ago! The picture I posted originally was taken a bit before that. I also added the Zunsport radiator grills. Wrestled with the idea of the Rennline (and may end up breaking down and doing it later). But for the price of the Zunsport, they were hard to ignore.
