Looks great if you get a chance can you take a picture further back? I am just trying to figure out if it makes them disappear completely.

If you’re on the fence, try high heat flat black engine enamel. Mine have been going strong for awhile and still look great

I just bought the Fabspeed carbon fiber tips and yes they are pricey but so is every aftermarket part on this car relative to any other non-exotic car company.. however the oval tips are ridiculously ugly and its justified to pay the large sum to get rid of them.

I too used to bemoan the oval tips on my base 2014 Carrera. They used to stick out like shiny sore thumbs. I loosened the tips and recessed them on the exhaust pipes to be flush with the bumper. Also stopped cleaning them so they are dull and sooty now. I have not only made peace with them but actually prefer them to quads. May powder coat black eventually after seeing how nice they turn out. Oh, and my side markers are still yellow.

I just ordered these on eBay because they looked good and were about half the price of any alternative. Within a day, I and received a note back canceling the order because they apparently only fit the 991.1 models. Supposedly the company is working on a version for the 991.2.

I actually prefer the ovals over the quad tips since only one side of the twin pipes works.

if anyone wants to trade - hit me up

what do you mean work? i think all 4 exhausts are functional. At least all 4 have soot on them,.
dont all 4 tail pipes function? it cant be like the new pseudo-dual tail pipes on BMWs, Toyotas, Mercedes, Audi, VW

etc...its so fake, looking inside one tail pipe its dark, the other has a bright shiny end = fake.

Get a base with PSE and you wont have to deal with this.

since my quad exhaust tips have soot over them, no longer shiny, has small pits, i thought of spray painting them all black. Did you just use something like high heat rust-oleum? did you you use primer first?
thanks
