991.2 Base vs S, PASM to PASM: which is more comfortable?

I've done a lot of googling and reading including these threads:

https://rennlist.com/forums/991/1054...uestion-2.html
https://rennlist.com/forums/991/1155...m-lower-2.html
https://rennlist.com/forums/991/9785...rs-thread.html
They seem to suggest that 991.2 S somehow has slightly better handling and harsher ride than the Base even comparing PASM to PASM (no PASM Sport or PDCC involved) However I haven't read a definitive statement or seen hard evidence of that. Can someone tell me whether this is true? Or do the 991.2 Base and S ride the same if both are equipped w PASM and no PDCC?
Context:
I'm choosing between a CPO 991.2 Base and an CPO S w similar mileage and options and I'd like to get the softest ride possible. This is my whole reason for choosing a 911 - the best combination of comfort and performance. I live in downtown Los Angeles and let's say the bumps are brain concussing. I'm leaning towards the S just because of more power but if that means harsher ride (even for regular PASM) then I'd choose the Base. I've test driven both of these cars a few times but not over the identical roads. Even if I did, my back is in constant flux these days (I injured it a few weeks ago) so it's hard to to apples-to-apples. For reference I had 2016 M4 w adjustable suspension but it was too harsh so sold it. Then got a 2018 718 Cayman S w passive suspension and 19" and that was borderline too harsh (sold it for another personal reason). My daily is a 2019 X3 w dynamic suspension w 19" wheels and that's about right for me.

Base has softer spring rates. I would also be looking for 19” wheels instead of the 20’s.... or a Macan...
Spring Rates:
Spring Rates:
- Base 991: 24nm/48nm
- PASM: 28nm/62nm
- PASM-S/GTS?: 33nm/108nm
- GT3: 45nm/120nm
