i say dusts are normal for installers to a certain degree, and impossible to avoid for mobile installers. But a shop near me recently did a new installation with dust free install booth that has filters and active pressure, like how they do it in a medical supply grade, vitamin packaging plant. I imagine the dust level would be much less in that case, but then strict upkeep and maintenance is also necessary to keep it that way (tires track dirt into the booth, shoes, even the films itself might come with dust). There's no standard really in the PPF industry, it all depends how careful is your installer, how good your eyes are trained, how particular are you and how much you are willing to pay and accept the quality of work

I have a black 911 with Xpel ppf on the front, hood, mirrors, fenders, and rear spoiler....there are two specs of dust on the entire set up that I can see.
