PCNA is on a marketing roll.

I get monthly a variety of mail from corporate and from two dealerships (one where i got my 991 and the other my Macan) offering fantabulous deals on trades for new cars. Yesterday I received in the mail an impressive box that contained a a brochure about roadside assistance, a cross the board marketing brochure for everything Porsche sells, a nice branded pen and a personal welcome to Porsche ownership from Klaus Zelner. Funny message as I've had Porsches since 1973. It must have been prompted by my trading in a 2016 Macan for a used 2018 Macan turbo.

Now I'm miffed 'cause I read about the better bling Rennlisters get and all I got was a lousy pen....I'll hold off on a Taycan. I asked my SA to talk to Klaus next time he drops by.

I heard the siren call of a new car - exact color of my 991.1 - exterior and interior....I opened the door, sat down, smelled the new leather, picked up the price sheet and remembered that I have a fully paid for and great performing car...
