Default 991.2 Carrera aftermarket brake parts?

Does anyone know why you can't buy aftermarket rotors and pads for the 991.2 Carrera? I have searched
high and low - only thing I've found is OEM parts.

Advice and knowledge appreciated

Hawk and Posiquiet have OEM replacements pads.
Girodisc or Racing Brake 2 and AP/Essex make 2 piece rotors kits.

EBC Red stuff would be my pick for the pads. They do make pads for OEM 991.2 and good bite for street use and low dust. I didn't use for my 991.2 GTS yet but had great experience with them before.
you can get the part #s from here:

As noted by ShaunP (thank you), Essex supplies a host of brake upgrade components from AP Racing, Ferodo, and Spiegler. You can see details in this thread:

Some recent feedback from a 991 Carrera T owner on our Competition Brake Kit:

So I am looking for stock brake replacement parts. EBC site has fronts but no rear pads, Hawk doesnt make the fronts....

I can't find any aftermarket stock rotors. No Zimmermann, Brembo, Meyle, Adams Rotors, nothing, nada....

EBC's front rotor replacement was discontinued....

Thanks for the replies.

Your search skills are lacking.

I have a set of Hawk Performance Ceramics in my office right now ready to go on. They make 4 or 5 different compounds that work on the 991.

I use powerstop z16 pads for my 991.2 base brakes-low dust and good stopping power. For aftermarket rotors your current options are girodisk and the essex kits above.

@JRitt@essex do your 350mm rotors for the 991 s work on the base 991 t with the 4 piston calipers up front? Also curious of the weight of the rotors compared to stock.

Yes sir. We now have a disc option that works with the base 991 T 4 piston setup, and the matching rears.

Weights
Front OEM 330x34mm = 22 lbs.
Essex/AP Racing 350x34mm J Hook= 22 lbs.
https://www.essexparts.com/essex-des...-replace-330mm

Rear OEM 330x28mm = 20 lbs.
Essex/AP Racing 350x28mm = 18 lbs.
https://www.essexparts.com/essex-des...air-35028-rear

Here are some pics we took when the 991 Carrera T was in for test fit:

Front

Rear

Here's a disc from our Road Brake Kit next to OEM:

That is correct. Billet aluminum spacers for the OEM calipers are included with the discs. Thanks!

Thanks. When I am in the market for rotors it’s either this or the girodisk setup (unless there is a carbon ceramic option that is affordable at that time). Honestly not sure which is best but I will do more research when ready.
