FCP Euro does not sell the Front Hood Supports for the 991/981 models. Probably too many failures with these struts that would need free replacements!

I looked all over for a new set of OEM struts, yet in the end replaced mine with an aftermarket set purchased from
Amazon Amazon
. $18 per pair. They fit fine and work great, yet I will see how long they last.

For the cost of $9 each, if they last more than a year, I will be ahead of the game......

Drive safe.

I've ordered 3 different ones from Amazon with no luck. Any link or info regarding this strut?

I tried to go the aftermarket route with these last month with no real success. Purchased the Stabilus struts from Pelican for about $68/pair. They are identical in every way except for the "BECKER' letters printed on it. FWIW...

Click on the word Amazon in my post, and you go to the struts that work.

I just replaced mine in 5 minutes. I bought OEM from Pelican parts, more expensive but I just felt they would last longer . A very noticeable difference, mine had become kind of lazy.

Replaced mine in no time with the cheap ones from RockAuto. Perfect fit, pretty much exactly the same as OEM,and $8/ea. They do a great job lifting the hood.
