As stated earlier, comfort tire settings make a big difference. Try that out. 19" wheels with a little more sidewall may help as well... I considered this but am quite happy with 20" wheels and comfort pressures on my C2.
My impression is that PASM is not any more gracious in "standard" mode. It does get firmer in sport, but "standard" mode isn't any more pliable than the stock C2. It also sits 10mm lower, meaning less suspension travel - not sure that'll help.

You can even go lower with your pressures - i run my at around 28/32.
If you go into the menu at the tire pressure display and press the scroll wheel, it will tell you how much/over under you are for your setting (make sure you have selected comfort). It's quite useful.
Let us know if feel an improvement in the ride with the lower pressures!

Tire pressure is key and setting the chassis on normal helps.
For most conditions, my Porsche rides exceptionally well for such low profile tires.
That being said, while driving through corrugated secondary South Carolina roads this year, the ride was quite bad. It was something I wouldn't want to experience on a daily basis.

Nice looking ride. If you enjoy the car, find a way to soften up the effects of whats bothering you and soon you'll forget about them.
If lowering tire pressure does not help enough, go down to 19s as people mentioned and do research on tires. Some are softer than others.
Trust me, i had same issues when i went from Benz S550 to a 997.1 Carrera w/o PASM for my DD several years ago
I thought i made a big mistake but after a while you don't even notice
.
Be careful on exhaust, PSE sounds deeper than any aftermarket
. Some people, like me, prefer that over any loud but raspy aftermarket exhaust. Especially if you enjoyed the v8 sound of Bullit, don't get something that will take the sound in the opposite direction.

I had 19" wheels on a 997.2, switched to 18" wheels running 37lbs of pressure made a huge difference. I also have a Mustang (2018 GT) and you are right, it feels like a boat... it's large and heavy. But, it rides a hell of a lot nicer and the Coyote engine with a decent 93 octane or E85 tune is a blast. .
