This is new territory for me and my question is really legit
Moving forward, this simply makes it easier for end users to install their Accessports. Once pushed live, a simple firmware update will enable this functionality on all existing devices. Nothing else about the Accessport's functionality is changing, an ECU just no longer has to be removed and shipped to us prior to installation. We are forever grateful to those of you who have chosen COBB as your tuning solution and purchased an Accessport for your 991.2. Without seeing the continued dedication to the brand, it would have been hard to justify our continued efforts churning away at developing this new flashing protocol.

I like to find out when Accessport flashing without ECU Removal Tune. Next week my wife has a business trip.
You'll be able to completely uninstall the Accessport on your own accord, no extra fees involved. If you're hoping to install while your wife is on her business trip, you may just be in luck!

It's not possible -quite- yet, but should be released in time to suit your timeframe.

Just ordered my COBB AP and looking forward to it arriving this week along with new HRE wheels. Hopefully it arrives at the same time the update (non-ECU removal) is released.

Cobb, 3 requests for this new tune project when it’s released (I’ve also asked APR the same)...winner gets a new customer and I bet a bunch more!
1. No ECU removal and ability to switch programs at will (APR said they’re also working on this too)
2. Ability to turn off the throttle blip for MT 991.2
3. please don’t limit updates/downloads for software to ONLY Microsoft products for the Accesport. Please include iOS as well so people don’t have to buy another computer just to update software for their car.

This is what I use to update Accessports on a OSX computer. I use it for DSC controller software as well.
