The long story on this has been for years Porsche has not trusted Google on access to their proprietary technology as it relates to competition. Based on what is going on today with Google, as it relates to privacy issues, Porsche was dead on.

What everyone is saying about Google privacy is probably true, but I cannot believe that Apple is pristine either when it comes to privacy. Data is king nowadays, and all companies that deal with data use it to their advantage and for profit.

Apple absolutely uses the data to profit. But not by selling it. They use it to curate their own services and recommendations to their customers. They have they data and absolutely use it. I do have a great deal of respect for Apple and how they protect data.

However, Apple sells the same thing over and over as innovation. The experience on Android is considerably better than iOS. And you can take the steps to protect your data.

I used to be Android until two months ago when I switched to IPhone 11 Pro. I just felt Android phones are too big and bulky.
