Does anyone have a photo they can post of the underside of the PDK (for a 991.2) vanity surround assembly showing how that movable vanity plate is fit into the surround assembly? Is it easily removed?

Looking into potential refinishing options. May buy a spare to mess with if that plate can be removed for refinishing to remove the glare from the silver surface.

Checking into that as well. Strangely, I could not find a manual transmission shift boot for the 991.2 in the Porsche parts catalog. Did they not make a MT for the 991.2? That older 2018 post references a part that is listed for fitment of 2016 and earlier (991.1?).

 

I have a MT 991.2 so yes, it is available. You can also get a custom one made by Exclusive Option if you want a certain color of stitching.

Or you remove it and paint it.

 

Called Suncoast and they had the correct parts, both the shift boot /leather surround and the vanity piece with the two switches below the boot. Ordered a set.

Also, found the part in the "PET". It was under "levers and pedal cluster" not "Center Console".
