Just noticed my glass roof button is bent/warped?

Im not sure how that could have bent? I use my glass roof daily. But I don’t put things on my center console.

Just seems strange to have happened. Anyone seen this before?

 

It isn't clear to me from that picture what is bent or warped. Then again I ordered my GTS w/o the sunroof, so that could be a disaster for all I know.

 

Your picture doesn't show the third button for the "full-open" moon roof. In the picture you posted there isn't anything bent at all. Looks totally normal. Perhaps you meant the "other" button is "bent?"

 

If you are talking about your shade button, that is normal. No issue.

 

The chrome edge around the button is warped.

 

Hard to tell if anything is wrong from the angle you took the pic from.

 

I circled the warped, bent part. Notice how it’s dented in the silver edge? WTH happened to it?

 

Almost like something hit it, if I am seeing it correctly.

 

Yes, exactly. Its got like 3-4 little dips in the metal edge now. Im perplexed. I dont transport anything. I didnt hit it with anything. I DO push and pull that button daily as I drive with the top back a lot. I will ask my dealer about this. If they show me no love, I will just buy the the whole thing and swap mine out.


It's just strange.

 

They are plastic right? It looks wavy, possibly melted a bit from the sun?
