GT3 on my Carrera? Yep, 5 lug GT3 Wheels!

I’ve also wanted a set so I had them taylor-made. In order to get a forged 11.5” wheel for the back, mine are 2-piece but with hidden hardware. They’re not a 1:1 copy and I’m cool with that.
This is obviously a rendering and I’m anxiously waiting to receive them.

I have someone in my family in the alloy wheel business. I inquired with him if we could get these made but JWL/VIA certified. Looks like if we got 50 sets we could get them for around $2000 per set, maybe a bit less. They would be Flow Formed. The reason for needing so many sets is a mold needs to be made which is expensive, and since the wheel has a different face (concave) front vs rear, 2 molds would be needed.

Right, well I've got a cab and I never plan on tracking this car. Looking at these wheels closely they do seem to be normal cast wheels. I recognize these are not high-end track wheels. They also came with a low-end price. It's a cost/performance deal really. I love these wheels. I'll keep an eye for cracks or any other issues with these, but really, they are normal cast wheels that look great and fit my skinny wheel budget. I've bought HRE wheels in the past, but seriously, with my cab, I just drive around the city I think these are great.

I was tempted, but not sure if I believe the response.

It’s really simple, forged wheels cost about $600-$800 each to produce. If the price is too close or lower, they’re not forged. You just can’t operate a business without a gross margin.

I really love the way these look. A lot.
Sorry to be the one to bare bad news but I would be very suspect of the quality and not be willing to do anything other than cars and coffee in them. There are these Chinese places that just make things as cheap as possible with no regard to strength or quality. They are probably super heavy and almost assuredly not going to hold up for any kind of aggressive driving or less than perfect roads.

I bought a set of M3 knock offs for my bimmer. They are light weight and greatly increase performance. Theylook identical. After around 50k miles of hard driving i cracked one on a hump. Bought another one for $200 and now have around 80k miles on the set. Im happy but ymmv. I bought them from modbargains.com in ca. Great service and fast shipping.
