They really do look great though. For all we know they could be great quality wheels too.
Rotiform has a wheel called the PGT (lol) that the vendor Wheels Boutique pointed out to me. Forged, but I think they are like $4-5k for the set though.
It’s funny, Rotiform have been making these for over a year now and they look very similar to the new GT4 wheels. A little more angular than the original GT3/4 wheels.
Looks really good! But I would be scared to drive with unknown China wheels, hopefully your roads are smooth because they may not hold up to potholes..
Those are good looking wheels. I would never track them though. I don’t know the seller or the wheels, but I’ve been around the car game way too long to take any risks with wheels.
Right, well I've got a cab and I never plan on tracking this car. Looking at these wheels closely they do seem to be normal cast wheels. I recognize these are not high-end track wheels. They also came with a low-end price. It's a cost/performance deal really. I love these wheels. I'll keep an eye for cracks or any other issues with these, but really, they are normal cast wheels that look great and fit my skinny wheel budget. I've bought HRE wheels in the past, but seriously, with my cab, I just drive around the city I think these are great.
Hi guys-
OK, a little back story. I've always loved the modern GT3 wheels. LOVED them. I always wished someone made a 5 lug version for my Carrera cab. Well, it turns out they do. I found a company on eBay that will not only sell you a set, but paint them however you want. It took a couple months from order, but I'm SUPER happy with these. They're not HRE's so the paint isn't perfect, but they're damn nice for the money spent. On the 991.2 car like mine the rears poke slightly, like maybe 1/2". I don't normally like a poke but it's pretty minor, I can live with that.
I think these make my car a little "Speedster like" I guess. That's not a bad thing.
Take a look at the photos. I've got silver caps coming this week, not a super fan of the grey caps on there now.

Not yet. My other car is a 2018 M3. Great "dad car", but the ride sort of blows. I'm thinking the replacement for that next year is a Tesla Model 3. Batteries are the future. Plus, if I need to burn dinosaurs I've got the 911.
Looks good! I liked the member who put GT4 wheels on their 991, and these look like a cheaper alternative for daily driving (i.e. not track use). It is hard for me to decide on my favorite wheels for the 991, probably either these or the Carrera Sport 5 spokes.
I keep coming back to this thread thinking how bad I would love to have these on my car.
As a quick update to this thread, I thought I'd show you guys the car with proper silver caps, and now silver (titanium) wheel bolts. I personally think it's fantastic. My favorite wheel for sure. For those that are super into black, that's, of course, an option. I wanted something different than my platinum stock wheels so silver it was. Oh, and here are a couple of shots of how much lighter these titanium bolts are. They're nearly half the weight! I wish I was nearly half the weight. And yes, the car needs a drop. Next Spring for sure.
