Cooled Seat vs Heated Seat

I live in the hot San Joaquin Valley of California and really like the ventilated seats in my 2015 C2S coupe.
The Fresno dealer said that the comments they received, from mostly Panamera owners, was that the seat ventilation really helps in the first block or so before the air conditioning begins to cool down the vehicle.
When I pull out of my garage and switch on the seat ventilation it feels like an ice cube running down my back within seconds . . . when starting up after sitting outside in our 100+ degree heat, not so much.
The suction on the Porsche ventilated seats really eliminates the sweaty wrinkled back of shirts or blouses where the air conditioning can't reach. I find if I lift my back away from the seat when the seat ventilation is on, then lean back against the seat it feels instantly cool. I use the ventilated seat turned on at two blue lines or even one blue line of the three on most summer trips.
I too originally wondered if they were working, but a piece of tissue did stick to the passenger seat back then fall off when the seat ventilation button it turned off.

I drive with my top retracted all the time and needless to say where I live the AC is always on as well and I have yet to get a sweaty back so while they are not as good as others they do work well enough and I do not regret getting them.

If you’re wondering how well the seat ventilation works, try driving without it for a while, then engage it. You will notice the difference if it’s working.
