I have a GT3 but have been reading the side skirt Fitment posts in both sections to prep myself.

I do plan to start art with the least “damaging” methods first and work my way through it.

a few pic of RS 2 skirt on my .1 GTS - it comes out fairly wide, so you have to relearn how to get in and out of the car

ps - I know the car is very dirty

Looks great. Did yours end up with a slight gap at the rear like most if not all of us with a GTS? Hard to tell from such distant pictures.

The "gap" between the top of the skirt and the bottom of the car rail is probably about 1mm. Very small and can only be noticed by getting on you hands and knees with you eyes level with the top of the skirt. Additionally, the curvature of the back of the skirt does not line up exactly with the curvature of the car, probably sticks out 1 or 2 mm. Unless someone is really looking, it is not noticeable and even if they do notice, looks good enough as not to matter. While I am OCD about such things, it is small enough that I am not going to worry about it.

I was able to fit mine on my GT3. There was a gap as expected. Plus at least on my car (narrow body), the 2 rear underside screw/turn clips weren’t able to push in and one of the rear screws. That was also known from other GT3 owners trying it.

I tried notching the holes on the last 3 upper clips and while physically it can be pushed in, it wants to pop back out. So the other side I left everything as is. It bugs me a little bit because I know it’s there but I do like how it widens the car out.

Today at cars and coffee, I looked at GT3RS’s and noticed even stock it sticks out very slightly as well.

How beat up my stock skirts were.

It is interesting that the RS' do not line up perfectly either

Now I don't feel so bad and don't have to think about fiddling with it anymore.
