Default Just got a pretty good deal on the RS side skirts.

If anyone wants to know.
I just ordered these from getporscheparts.com
It came to $305 delivered after the promo code.
They had a promo code BOOM to get an extra 5%.
They seem to be located in Maryland so shouldn’t be to long to get them in NJ.

Part numbers.

For reference, these are backordered and going for $399 @Suncoast. GetPorscheParts is selling them for $320 even without the discount code. They are the Porsche of Silver Spring parts outfit so it’s all OEM and legit (I’ve ordered through their BMW channel which is all part of the same group).

You know suncoast is usually the go place. I wonder why the big price difference. The $399 from suncoast is without tax and delivery. Who knows how much delivery would be due to the long boxes.

Hello Neil, I was told in another thread in the gt3 forum that the correct part numbers for the 991.2 gt3rs side skirts were part numbers;

99150459586OK1
99150459686OK1

I'm currently overseas and have no way of verifying, can you confirm your parts numbers are correct for the 991.2 rs skirts and not the 991.1 rs skirts? The 991.2 look more aggressive.

Thank you for your findings and promo code!

Get Porsche parts generally has the best pricing. Suncoast does not. Shipping can ruin a good deal but getaporecheparts.com and Suncoast do free shipping over about $350.

My observations are consistent with this as well. When I used to get stuff from “getbmwparts”, they were hands down the cheapest outfit compared to other BMW sites. My friends used to work there and they have always had a reputation for being “enthusiast-friendly”. Glad that this continues on the Porsche side. It also helps that I live 20 minutes for them.

This provoked a few more questions I have now-
1) is there a difference between the GT2 and GT3 RS skirts or are all RS skirts the same?
2) is there a difference between the .1 and .2 RS skirts?

There is a difference in GT RS skirts between the 991.1 and 991.2 versions. The 991.2 RS skirts are wider, more aggressive. I have had both on my TTS. The 991.2 RS skirts are the ones in my pics in the 'RS side skirts on a Turbo Cab' thread.

Ok difference in .1 to .2, but what about GT2 vs GT3, I can’t find a part number for a 19 GT2RS

Based on visual appearance only at a Cars and Coffee, the 991.2 GT2RS and 991.2 GT3RS sideskirts are the same.

Tees,

Can you confirm the part numbers for us if we were to want the newer ones that flare out more and are in your pics, please?

According to the instruction video I do have the correct part numbers. When I google that other part number I get something called a "side member trim mat".
