2019 demo value ?
I’m looking at a 2019 MT Guards red C2 demo with 200 miles and would appreciate any insight as to what the right offer might be.
It is about as base a 911 as you can get with only options being sunroof and heated seats. MSRP of $95K. Warranty was punched in May and it is not CPO’d. Ask price is $85K.
Many thanks.

Offer $78 and see what they say. Then counter at $81 and they include the CPO.

Man, that car is basically new other than a few months less of warranty. If you like the car do what Lex says but settle on full price with CPO. Don't be one of the people here that report back the car they were looking at sold to someone else.

They have 20% to play with from MSRP. Agree with Lex, 78k would be my number to hit + 3k for CPO. 83k would be my ceiling.

Hopefully you can do this deal in person. They need to realize you have walking power. Go in with your lucky pen and checkbook.
You have a lot of leverage. You're ready to buy today. It's a base 911. The driving season is coming to and end in about two months. The warranty has started. It's a manual in a polar color. And the 992 is rolling into town. Tick-tock tick-tock.

And being a MT, in Guards Red, are all pluses to me, but they don't need to know that. Make them squirm.

I know when the warranty was punched but do you know how long the car has been for sale?

My car had a 109k sticker and sat on the lot for around 6.5 months. It was 1 of 3 similar spec cars the dealer had that wouldn't move (991.2 Base, black/black, non-sc, non-pse, bose, premium package).
I was able to get it for 89k (around 20%) + 3k for the CPO.

New, fresh off the boat car has a roughly 7.5% margin for the dealer. If it's a demo that's being offered as a CPO, dealer must punch the title to have it be labeled a "used" vehicle. Porsche advocates this to help move the car, and gives dealer an incentive (That's usually ~10% - 12% in value relative to car).

Very informative. Thanks.
OP let us know what you get it for.

$85K doesn't sound like a bad deal to me. Car is basically new (I don't think 200 miles of demo is a big deal). Not sure why you'd need CPO if the warranty was punched in May.
Pretty rare that you could find a current year car at that price. If it's a car you like, a 2019 911 for $85K is a good deal. I wouldn't walk away over a couple of thousand dollars, because if you don't buy this one, you'll almost certainly end up spending more, or buying a car that's older and has more miles (but higher spec).

I think 85k is a fantastic deal. That's 10.5% off for basically a new car.
I'd take it.
