Do you know what the term "such as" means? I was only throwing out a number so people would know that miles matter and they could ask whomever they talk to about writing a policy, geez.

Are they this high now? I thought $15??

That wise guy trucheli did not mention what deductible he has, which is big part of the cost so he must have thought that did not matter, when it does. And he also did not say if how much OEM warranty he had, if applicable.

And read Post# 78 here, which seems to show there are several mileage milestones: https://rennlist.com/forums/991/1120...arranty-6.html

As I stated, those who are thinking of getting one should discuss all options before deciding when the right time to buy one is, if at all, unless you want piece of mind and do not prefer to self-insure, which many people do after weighing the cost against potential problems.

“Such as” means I don’t know what I am talking about. Throwing out a number like you just did can affect negatively someone who is considering purchasing an extended warranty to wait to have close to 30k miles and ending up paying more.

You are talking out of your *** with misleading information. There’s nothing helpful about that.

Do you really want me to expose you again? You have no idea what you are talking about.

First, you don’t have to wait until your factory warranty is close to expiring. That’s irrelevant, miles in the car are more important than how much time you have left on your warranty. That’s why the price is based on certain amount of miles and the price changes when you go over those miles.

Second, there’s not such a thing as 30k milestone, the price changes after 25000 miles, so you’ll better off to purchase before 25000 miles to avoid paying more.

I think the readers can make an easy determination who is the one being helpful.

PROST!

You have no clue!!!! I never said that one had to wait until their factory warranty is close to expiring! It makes more sense since why pay for coverage when one already has it. Drop the 30k milestone - as I said I was just throwing that number out and I could have said something else and that is what someone like Jordon would explain, who I have been referring people to for almost 20 years now. And your last sentence is the only one that makes any sense!

keep in mind that it is best to wait until you have a few months left of your factory warranty left before purchasing.

WRONG!

Thanks for the info! Can you share where you got this and is it 7 years from now (the date of warranty purchase)?

Contact Jordon at Mossy Motors and let him explain the options for your car: Scroll down to him here: https://www.mossymotors.com/MeetOurDepartments, or email him direct: mjourdan@mossymotors.com

Check with your local dealer too, I was able to get mine to beat Mike Jourdan's price by a couple hundred.
