After being on the C7 forum before this, these Pcars seem bullet proof, albeit more expensive to repair if/when something does happen.
Amen to that...I had several Vettes in the past, including a couple C7s, and if one thinks Porsche owner's bitch this is nothing!

Yes, see post #53, and when you call ask for the Finance Manager or department. They may have an email contact on their web site but I did not look.

Ah thanks! I didn’t realize your response was the contact we were looking for (the Fidelity $3600 for 6 years / 60,000 miles deal)

Interesting that it’s through Porsche. Didn’t know they sell Fidelity warranties!

I never got a response from either but I did reach out to several different people.
First person I got in contact with was MJ over at Mossy Motors.
He quoted me $250 Deductible 7year/70k for $5,460.95

Then I saw K-A's post and was blown away. So I sent him a DM and never got a response.
But I saw that Bob Z got it from him. They ended up quoting me for the same terms at $5,265

I had my car in for the water pump leak and reached out to the finance person at my local dealership. She initially quoted me way more but got her to beat the deal with a final price of $5,100 for the 7year/70k

Her contact is Sara Rosales sara.rosales@momentumporsche.com
Momemtum Porsche of Houston

Hopefully this helps some of you guys out.

Now that is way to do business! I do the same often albeit I would be curious to hear what Jordon would say in regards to the price of $5100. He seems like a straight shooter and once told me that he made $100 for every contract.

Yep.
He makes it up in volume. I spoke to him last week & he said he does about 15 Rennlisters per month.

Just curious, what does everyone get for their deductibles; 0, 100, 250? I'm sure there's a formula out there. He gave me prices for my 2019 Targa 4S. He stated rates increase approx. 5% every January 1st. I'll probably get mine in late December.

@Dkk16 When does your factory warranty expire as you state you have a 2019? Why would you get an extended warranty in December as you must have years left? Or am I missing something here?

Hard to say since it depends on the overall price and it is really a guessing game. If you buy a 4 year plan and estimate you would use it once a year, which is probably on the high side, you can do the math based on the overall cost. I also have a 2019 and do not plan to get an extended warranty until I am about 3 1/2 years into my factory one since I do not want to pay for coverage I already have, even with the small yearly increases, and my mileage will also factor in since the warranty price is dependent on that as well. Finally, I want to see if I still have the car after 3 1/2 years!

This is copied from MJ's email: you can only get the 10year plan when the car has less than 10k miles.

once you exceed 10k miles the longest term will be 7 years up to 25k on your odometer.

once you exceed 25k the longest term will be 6 years.

once you exceed 35k miles longest term will be 5 years

0-- 10k 10 years

10k-25k 7 years

25k-35k 6 years

35k-45k 6 years

45k-60k 5 years

60k-75k 4 years

So I want the 10 year I will get it this December. It will be less than 10,000 miles, but I'll miss the 5% increase in 1/1/2021. Having said that, If I don't hit 10K miles till late 2021, I may wait till then. (I will do a c/f analysis).

Hope that makes sence.

I recently purchased my extended warranty from M.J. at Mossy Motors.
M.J. was very responsive to all my questions and I didn't feel any pressure to purchase. It was a straight forward and smooth transaction.
2016 GTS with less than 2k miles. I went with the Fidelity Platinum, 6 year, 60k miles and $100 deductible at a cost of $2568.00
