My 991.1 slightly modified incl. wrap
Hello Everybody
After owning many Audis (A4, TT, Q5, A5) in the past, I switched over to my dream car manufactory in 2015 with the purchase of my first Porsche Macan S. I sold the Macan last year and purchased a 2017 Panamera which I really love.
In November last year I bought a little "fun car" a Speedster Replica Super Wide Body. I always wanted a 911, so finally last month the time came and I purchased a 2013 991 4S. So far I did some slightly modification: Carbon fiber interior, steering wheel upgrade to a 991.2 carbon fiber steering wheel, smoked tail lights and psychedelic wrap. I was first a bit hesitated about my wrap color choice but I always wrap my cars and the Panamare is wrapped in Ghost flip matte, so I risked the psychedelic wrap and I am really happy with it.
Hope3 to learn all the insides here on this great forum and the amazing people here. Happy to be part of it. Cheers

Some carbon fiber bits outside (Front lip, diffuser, side skirts), aggressive spoiler like a TechArt or Ducktail paired with some nice forged wheels, lowered a little would help that chormealution wrap scheme.
Love the speedster, had a Panny before and miss its size at times.

Very cool. What was the base color before the wrap? Does it matter?
Where are your headlight washers?

Nice, I saw a BMW wrapped in the same color yesterday and it looked better in person than in pictures. If you get bored start reading threads in this forum, page by page, and you will learn virtually everything, and have a few laughs along the way.

JM, greetings and congrats on the new ride - looks like we went shopping at the same time.
That parking lot photo - thats the cars and coffee in Beverly Hills off sunset right?

Great job on SPASM lip and gauge rings Those subtle thinks make a huge difference IMO.
I don't love wraps like this without aftermarket wheels and suspension. This wrap seems to be one that also looks better in person than pictures. Although I don't think this color is for me, I often contemplate wrapping mine but also really appreciate when other people share unique things on these cars; thanks for sharing!

How do you get away with not displaying front plate in CA? Also, are you running the AC in centigrade units?

@JM Riese is correct, the base color of the car doesn't matter..... BUT it does. It doesn't matter in regards to choosing any wrap color (aside from some specialty over-wraps and printed clear layers) your mind can imagine as they are solid materials that don't show anything through the surface color. BUT it will matter when it comes to the cost and your satisfaction with how the end result looks. Why? With some color cars (well, nearly anything other than black or dark colors) you can't just cover the exterior surfaces without the original color being visible and possibly looking hideous like the spaces between body panels, along edges, etc. I am not just talking about the door sills, which in many cases are ok to leave unwrapped as they only show when the door is opened. But the spaces between body panels like front edge of door and fender panel are visible especially in sunlight. Ask anyone who has wrapped a white, yellow, red, or other bright-color car -- to hide that contrasting color effectively they've had to extend the wrap well-into the recesses -- which ultimately just means more cost and time. So yes, in that regard, it does matter! LOL
