Yup, end space would've been one better, but I figured I was OK since the nearest car was like a hundred yards away. Incidentally, when I came back to my car that day, I found a bunch of ad flyers shoved under my wiper. I was shocked because I only ran into the store for like 15 minutes to buy a pair of underwear. So someone must of driven clear across the lot to get to my car or been sitting in their car watching people arrive so they could slip flyers on while they were in the store. Strange.

Classic communication error. You're saying to yourself "Leave me ALONE"... Vs. everyone else reads "This car is lonely. I'll go park right next door and make friends...".

We park our cars as far away as possible in order to avoid door dings, idiot drivers, etc. We drive nice cars and pay a good chunck of change for them. Maybe, just maybe, those drivers are in the same boat as us, except their high dollar car happens to be a chevy or ford or whatever they drive. My first truck out of high school was a 86.5 Nissan Hardbody pickup (4 or 5 speed on the floor thank you). And believe me, I parked as far away from anyone. It was a Nissan and my payments were at the time a lot, but it was mine and I was going to take care of it as much as possible, Sure, it bothers me when I park as far away as possible and see 2 or 3 cars next to me when I return, but I just remember the story above and all is well.

I always try for end spots that are far away but one must keep in mind that if there is a vegatation there may be sprinklers and if so the water may be coming from a shallow well, which produces nasty, sulfer and mineral-laden water....they are all over done here in FL.

No matter where I park (and it is usually far away from other cars), I am more scared of shopping carts than other cars. People leave them after unloading them and they roll everyhwere wreaking havoc. Deadly.

People are subconsciously drawn to cars parked on their own.. It being a 911 baits them some more.

No choice but to park in the herd; however the car on the left of the pic parked after me. Really appreciated how far away he parked to give my ride space. Classy move
