Someone hit my car in my parking garage.

It's funny. If you park away from people.....Morons want to park directly next to you just to mess with you or cause damage. Parked far out in a best buy parking lot in my 997. A moron in a pickup truck had to park directly next to me in an open parking lot and open his door too far to cause a door ding.

This same thing happened to me, 4 weeks after I picked up my ‘19 Q7. I was in PA, parked, came back the next day and saw a huge set of black streaks on the bottom of the passenger side rear door and fender. I was able to buff out all of the markings. But, there were two small dents. Thank goodness I know the best mobile dent repair guy. I was pissed. What sucked is that the facility, where the parking lot is on, said that I would have to call the police for them to review the video. I didn’t want to get an accident report of any kind reported, for something so small. So I had to shell out a couple of bills. People are terrible , and dishonest when it comes to that stuff. Look at this video. I can’t believe this actually happened.

My truck was hit 1.5 years ago while at dinner with my Wife and Daughter. No note, no one asked patrons if the truck belonged to them. What kind of sack of s*** does that. Very happy it was my truck rather than the 911 but still really pissed off as I take care of everything I own. And I am not white trash driving a truck NJ991!😁😁😁 Sorry buddy....

People are so dumb when parking! Today I parked on the street right outside my favorite coffee shop. A guy in a pickup parked 3 inches from my front bumper, for no reason at all since there wasn't anything in front of him. Then another car parked 3 inches from his front bumper. When pickup guy returns to his rig he literally couldn't get out of the spot so had to wait until the owner of the 3rd car returned. He was making a big deal about what the 3rd driver did but he did the same thing!

What a bummer, sorry to hear OP
That is a nightmare of mine as well, just a risk we have to live with as much as I bet we'd all love to park in a sealed vacuum chamber with shotgun mounted sentry turrets retinal eye scanner thumbprint scanner saliva tester you name it.... some people just don't respect others and their hard earned property
Hope you get it fixed and get it behind you

Owlcam.com use cell service so good for parking and theft. Data is loaded to cloud while camera is being stolen. Lol
Went to Vendor office today and I wanted to park in the far away spot designated Compact car. Got in a big argument with security guard as he wanted me to park in the row with all the SUV and pick up trucks. His argument for me not being able to use the open spot was so he could monitor a second entrance. I said, stand behind my car and look over it. It’s not tall. I’m not parking over there and risk door dings. Addressed with management and I was allowed to park in the compact spot.
I feel for OP, people are no longer respecting other people’s property nor will they be accountable for their mistakes.

So how about some small explosive charges inside the bumpers that could be armed when parked? It might be worth the sacrifice to thin out the idiot contingent.

Sucks, man so sorry. This is why I only have 2700 miles on my 2 year old car. Prius does 99.9% of the parking lots. 911 only when I will not be parking, yeah it sucks but when I see these post it just confirms it for me.
