The factory modes are so well done, after the cat/header change contemplating not to do a pro tune. car is so solid right now, sounds bonkers and so enjoyable on public roads. plus after the cat/header install the factory modes are even more distinct.

Ok update...
Finally got the ***** to do it WOT. It does NOT work past 1/2 throttle. So again, for lazy shifting deiving around town, by all means. No lift shift works.
If youre racing, do NOT try this at home, folks. Clutch stayed depressed so thankfully only a few stage 1 overrevs

Thanks for the sacrifice for the rest us.
Maybe Porsche probably doesn't want risking warranty replacements if they encouraged no-lift shift by providing the means to do so.
I've also noticed that when up-shifting normally, the engine revs slightly rise to mute some of the engagement strain.

That's too bad, was hoping this would work. In the Corvette it works by holding RPM at the redline with the pedal held to the floor. When you release the clutch on the next gear RPMs come down and throttle is wide open. It does not bounce off the rev limiter. It works really well. Here is an old video I made of this working in a manual 2011 C6 Z06 (7 liter/505hp), so this tech has been around a while. This vid show launch control with a manual also. The gas is held to the floor through the launch and all shifts. You can hear it chirp the tires in all gears.

Oh well. I guess Porsche wants to charge an extra 50k for this option in the 911. At least they throw in a cup car engine with it
Seriously, if this had worked, it would have been epic
