Back in the ‘80s, the PCA held its national convention or Parade In Wisconsin. Ferry Porsche and his wife attended. The flew into Chicago and were met by a PCNA rep with a new 911 to drive to the event. In the heat and humidity of a typical midwestern summer, Ferry was appalled by the poor A/C performance. Upon return to Germany an investigation was launched. What was found was that they had been testing their A/C in the heat of the middle east, in areas that were quite dry. The hammer then came down and the 964 gen 911 was launched as a mobile meat locker. No more complaints about the A/C.
