Default Clutch Start Switch Help

Was trying to start my car this morning and it says "depress clutch pedal" even though the pedal was fully depressed. Eventually got it to start but it was iffy. I know on the 997s there's an easy clutch pedal switch to replace but having a hard time finding the part # for the 991. Is it the same? Couldn't find much info. If someone could help shed some light on the part number / fix, would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

991.1 or 991.2?

Perusing the 991.2 parts PDF, I'm seeing 991 423 081 11 labeled as "servo spring" and appearing to be the only mechanism attached to the pedal, per the parts diagram, that could be construed as a clutch switch.

Googling "2017 porsche 911 clutch switch" immediately brought up this same part.

991.1, thanks for the clarification. I brought up same part number ending in 00 and agree it seems to be the only thing attached to the clutch pedal. What’s throwing me off is the 997 which had a clear micro switch.

Could be the difference between an on/off switch and a... whatever it's called when it's measuring the entire throw of the pedal. Not a rheostat, but the same principle. The same way a throttle pedal is measured.

I think a potentiometer is what you mean. Sort of like a throttle position sensor or TPS? I wonder if this different style clutch switch has something to do with the hill hold function in the 991's.
