Ok here is my Carrera T on scales 3074 lbs with 1/2 tank of fuel, heavy 20 inch street wheels and tires, fire extinguisher and floor mats. Only mods so far are Sharkwerks muffler and anti gravity battery. Car has LWB, PCCB and rear wheel steer not many other options. Think cars with LWB and PCCBs May be a little lighter than what Porsche indicates in specs.
Nice data point! Thank you! This makes me want to weigh my Carrera with PCCB and not much else.
These cars are l-i-g-h-t for their exterior size as well as their 370-hp output, weighing less than 250-hp 964 Carrera 2s did and not much more than 300-hp 996s did.
No RWS and the right set of wheels plus your mods might get one of these into sitting distance of 3,000lbs.
Dude awesome!
battery and exhaust prob save 50lb and 32 lb for gas. There u go. 3150, what porsche said. I dont think pccb weigh less than base brakes and curious how much lighter buckets are than 4 ways.
I also wonder how much fal weighs
3075 was my weight on 3/4 tank, no RAS, sofas, 7MT.
No mods.
Edit: Fuel was slightly below 3/4 tank, but I had a small lawn chair and a few clothes items in car so 3/4 is an approximate fuel level.
My only options were: Heated seats, Bose, Chrono, Dimming mirrors.

Wow! That’s impressive. Porsche swimming against the tide, it seems, with cars generally getting bigger & heavier with each new generation. A Carrera T lighter than a 25 year old 911, and with an extra 120hp!
With less fuel , lightweight 19 inch forged Jongbloed Racing wheels, Hoosier A7s, mats and fire extinguisher removed ....my T will be right around 3000 lbs. My coilovers should drop a couple lbs too. I have have opportunity to reduce weight a little more with cat delete as well. That will probably be extent of weight loss for the car.
With 500 hp, wider wheels and tires the T should move nicely. It sorely needs more rear grip with 500 hp. The 295 Re71 I have now are good but just can’t cope with all torque and hp this little 3.0 twin turbo delivers. Will have 315 a7 on back once my new wheels are finished. That should help keep rear end in check.
T is very competitive in AX. Not quite as fast as GT3 but certainly gives GT4s a run for their money as it has way more torque. With wider tires and coilovers GT3s will be vulnerable . My car looks like 4x4 next to GT cars so lowering car a little should help too.

This was nagging at me, so I went back and looked at a test in which we weighed a 1989 Carrera 3.2 Silver Anniversary coupe and it was 2,928 pounds with a 1/2 tank* of fuel. Would you have guessed that a 991.2 Carrera/T would be within 100~ pounds of an impact-bumper 911? When I think about the size difference between a Carrera 3.2 and a 991.2 Carrera—not to mention power, two more gears, brake size, wheel/tire size, safety equipment, and luxury equipment, it's very impressive.
Per Porsche:
1989 Carrera 3.2: 2,755 or 2,866 pounds (not sure if dry?)
1990 Carrera 2: 3,031 pounds
I'd be curious to see real-world figures for a 964 C2 coupe. I suspect they are over 3,100 if not heavier. I believe the 964 C2 was the heaviest of all "standard" 911s.
*Niggle: 1/2 tank of fuel will always be imprecise if going by the car's fuel gauge. Better to weigh car with full tank and then subtract weight of 1/2 tank in gallons of gasoline, though this really is a niggle.
