Your car looks great with the wheels that color, and I even like the center caps that way but again, Eric does a great job if you want to change them. Someone else here actually got those wheels as a CXX option, polished from what I can recall.

Looks great. I painted mine from silver to Platinum Satin.

I think you inspired me, when you first showed us your car.

Exactly. I have a Carmine Red GTS and anything but black on that car looks just wrong. Other colored cars and you get a lot more options with wheel colors. If I had to put silver or platinum silver wheels on a Carmine Red car I would get rid of the car.

I’m going to have mine done in satin aluminum to match the targa bar in silver. Anyone know the paint codes?

About a week before my PC appointment, I found someone that was willing to trade my black Carrera S wheels for the silver for the same money I was going to pay for the PC. Mucho happier with the silver. Now I just need my KW HAS kit to arrive...

IMO the stress and effort was worth it, that looks awesome and better than the standard black CL to me. Well done, looks OEM from the pic at least

As we all do, speccing a .2 GTS variant in my head one of the first things I would have tried to do is CXX the CL wheels to a silver color. Some on here have done that on their 991.1 and 991.2s, and if from the lot I'd probably have done the same!

Sat Plat is definitely the best on all colours IMHO. There seems to be a fad over here now for gold wheels. Again, IMHO, these are not in keeping with the iconic understated 911. Perhaps on the RS models, but even then, a bit bling for me.

For those of you who had your wheels painted, what was the process like, was it doable without a spare set of wheels? (Just leave the car their I guess?)
