I never did like those black wheels
So I had them powder coated Platinum Satin. I can't say the process was painless, but now that it's done I'm happy.

Yes, they had to be done twice. The first time they were all different shades. It took 3 weeks total. It was not a good experience. I'm not going to give any names, I'm over it.

I just made an appointment locally to get my Carrera S wheels powder coated.

Not me. I love mine and I think it depends somewhat on the exterior color since Silver or Platinum would not look nearly as good to me. But I agree with the OP's choice for his car; when I ordered my car I did not like the Black CLs so I picked the other ones:

I forgot to mention that Eric at Bumperplugs.com can paint your center caps to match, or any color you desire.

Bob, I totally agree about the color of the car. Maybe if mine were gloss black I would have liked them better. The first P car that caught my attention was a white 911 with the Carrera S wheels in Platinum. It stuck with me but I didn't order my car, it was on a lot.

Saw the title and thought I’d not like the pic. I’m a huge fan of black wheels. Have been since long before they came into style.
But I do think your mod looks super.
Nice job!
And good on you for not sweating the small stuff.
Personally, my ppf is getting redone. Car is two months young. It was already peeling. But what can you do?
Enjoy the day.
