Who can break the 2.9 0-60mph barrier mark?

My best so far is a 3.1 with a passenger and slight bog. I think I can break 2.9 without slight bog. You can see it in the graph (yellow line)

Car is a .2 RWD GTS with exhaust and tune.

I do think you could break 3.0. One of the magazines had a stock .2 GTS at 3.1.
What rear tire pressures did you run? It seems something less than 25 psi is best for those runs, for a bigger rear tire patch.
Which tune do you have?

Nice one. His lateral G force peaks really nice initially and drops strong in 2nd gear... I wonder what his temperature and DA was. Wonder if mine is an updated version of the app.

I'm going to try dropping the tire pressures to see if that helps.

I am around This was a picture of me at the Greenwich Concourse Yesterday sent to me by a RL member.

I need to re test with new wheels. The new wheels are lighter and now have Michelin Summer rubber, not Pirelli. Also, was having issues with shifting on my winter set up and turbo s wheels, so I'm hoping for a little better performance this time around. I am thinking that the car with tune is having issues with the smaller wheel diameter from the turbo s, which is why it was having shifting issues right at red line. We shall see..

Oh, don't y'all forget that I weigh 215lbs and have a 300lb heavier targa than most of you guys in coupes..

I remember reading that review. Interesting - am I seeing that right that they didn’t use launch control? Impressive times for a stock GTS!

Yup, for drag racing, you typically want to drop the tire pressures quite a bit. Back when I went to test n tune nights at the drag strip, I would drop the tire pressures for the runs and I had an air compressor to air them back up before going home.

Remember that surface conditions is everything. If C&D was testing at a drag strip that had VHT put down for more traction, that definitely would help 0-60. I've seen a track so sticky, a guy lost his shoe as it stuck to the track and his foot came out.
