I bought a brand new Carrera T 10 days ago from an out of state dealer. I noticed these wrinkles on the back of the shift **** during the drive home. I took it to the local Porsche dealer but they denied warranty. What should I do?

 

Call the out of state dealer and send them this pic. I would hope they would be able to mail you a replacement part. It’s a simple install.

 

And then tell your local dealer you were hoping they would be your service provider, but now you will go elsewhere.

Which dealer ? Call PCNA and ask them for money to replace and cover gas to a decent dealer.

 

ya something is up--but keep in mind that soon you will need to replace the shifter since Alcantara doesn't hold up to daily use.

Be sure to update all of us in regards to the resolution. What is a non-defective one look like? I have only seen the fronts but then again most I see are leather.
