Parking Outside

Parking Outside
I’ve got a one car garage. And thinking about making some changes to the lineup.
I’m going make the 911 Targa my daily. I’m shocked at how easy it is to drive and how comfortable I find it. Loving every minute in this vehicle.
Likely then going to pick up another “weekender” to keep in the garage. But I digress.
Any of you folks keep your 911 outside year round on the east coast? Or similar type weather?
And to get more specific. Anyone keep a Targa or Cab outside? Just wondering how it will effect the upkeep of the car.
Thanks,

Treat your targa top with 3-4 light coats of RaggTopp.
Treat your paint with a quality nano coating.
Use a sunshade when possible in the windshield.

Consider an outdoor car cover.

If you mean east coast Philly and north the weather sucks and the trees drop crap constantly along with our feathered friends. Unless an Fcar or Lambo is going in the garage I wouldn't. Car covers for outdoor are good not perfect. Stuff gets trapped under, etc....
Really depends on how **** you are about the finish.

If the numbers work out, I’ll be taking home a 13 458 Spider this week. I put a deposit on it for them to hold it for me until Tuesday. I’ll have final math complete Monday.
I’m not 100% on the logistics just yet. But I’m leaning towards putting that in a local storage lot for such cars after the summer is over. The putting the Targa back into the garage. I do currently have a full wrap on it. So I imagine it’ll withstand any summer “shenanigans”.

Mine sleeps outside most of the time.
Ceramic coated and put a layer of nice synthetic wax every 2 - 3 months or so.
Defrosters are very well designed on these cars. It's like they were made to be driven year round...

If there are trees close by a cover is a must, else the paint will be wrecked very quickly.

I keep mine outside year round...no cover, just judicious in keeping it clean...and I didn't go with Nano, I use a quality carnauba wax...oh yeah, and I don't park under trees...I did treat the top with Ragg Top...and I do have the luxury of a parking garage at work. I don't drive mine in the winter for a few reason...I live in NoVA and folks can't drive and I don't want the salt from the road on the underside.
