I daily my GTS up here in Canada. Even drive it in the winter with a winter wheel swap.

Crazy to daily a GT car but a GTS is very civilized to daily....with the ability to hoon should your want to.

They are built to be driven.

So crazy or just drive and enjoy???
Resale?? Does nobody keep cars for life anymore? If worried about resale then my thoughts are to buy a car that has already bottomed out on its depreciation curve but has been well maintained by the owner(s) up to that point to minimize loss on resell and cost of ownership til then. As for me I plan to DD my C4S and could care less about resale.

I don’t daily mine as I still have my Macan S and I’m just too lazy to want to clean the GTS if the kids have dirty feet.

That said, I easily could DD it! Have done a couple of 6 hour days in it and it’s actuallt more comfortable (not to mention better mileage - lol!) than the Macan.

This past weekend, my 6 year old daughter and I took it to Home Depot. Struck me as funny, but why not? I miss the rear hatch of my Cayman, but the back seat more than makes up for it for practicality.

Plus, OMG... it does not disappoint when there’s a little room to feel the acceleration! How can you pass that up?

As others have said... IMO, drive it every chance you get.

I daily drive my previous panamera 4S and currently 2014 991.1S 7spd is my daily driver. My wife daily drives her Cayman R as well. Why buy a awesome sports car and barley enjoy and look at it only while its in a glass case? Drive it like you stole it and enjoy it.

It's a great DD - my current 991.1 is the first Pcar I have owned that is not my DD. I have several cars now - so I choose the right tool for the job, so to speak.
I never had an issue with a 911 as my DD, and I can't even recall if I took a bigger depreciation hit. Buy it, drive it and enjoy it.

Only have one car. Drive it rain, sun or snow. I do have PDK which makes it very easy in traffic. Snow tires for winter.

Yes DD your 911.

My 2016 991.1 GTS cab (PDK) has been my DD for almost four years (and approaching 40,000 miles). I plan on driving her daily for the rest of my career (I will be 45 in July and I have a looooong way to go in my career).

I'm DD'ing my GT3 right now and nothing beats walking out of work and hopping into a 911. I put 2500 miles on mine in the past two weeks so I say go for it. Who cares if it depreciates more because of mileage, at least you get to enjoy it
