Default Places that can install 305 tires

I just purchased a set of wheels and need to install tires. Unfortunately every place I’ve called says that they don’t have the equipment necessary to safely install 305/30/20. The local Porsche dealer here in Chicago is quoting me $450 to mount and balance all 4 tires lol. Anyone know of any good local places in Chicago I could get this done for a reasonable price?

thanks

Use the Tire Rack website and locate a preferred installer. Next time, buy your tires from TR and then drive over to South Bend for excellent work and $15/wheel. Worth the trip.

Discount Tire Peachtree City. A nice clean cut fellow who normally doesn't do the grimy work seemed delighted to mount the new set of ps4s. He stated some challenge getting the 305's on but goterdone.

20 bucks a tire to mount and balance. Porsche quote was 800 bucks. I don't have a history of cheaping out but I'm not a fool either. THe dealership also attempted to raise the quote another 85

a tire the day before the appointment. Same tech and a printed quote. He said '' Some body made a mistake'' I didn't, blew Porsche off.

Love the new skins. Tech allowed me in the shop while he worked. I used my pad for his jack. All his idea. If you don't want to enter the shop you can still see them work through the large glass.

Also let me drive into and out of the shop. No scratch no messed up interior experience.

$450 to mount and balance 4 tires? Holy cow, my dealer charges $200 which is quite pricey imo. Local tire shop charged $100, and yes the rears were 305's

I'm surprised no one you called will mount a 305 tire....... it's not an odd size at all ......

Chicago dealers are the worse.

I buy and install my tires at Costco. Both N-spec AlpinA4 and Michelin Cup2, the latter 305 on 20". $40 all 4, balanced, Nitrogen and insurance.
I'm not sure if they would install outside tires.

Try carsplus on Westmont. Mark Hill is a PCA racer, does a lot of work for local track peeps. Gocarsplus.com

Any Discount Tire will take care of you, and fix a flat for free.

That's whacky - Discount Tire installs 305/35-20 tires on my 20x11 rims on my Mustang with no issues. 305 series isn't *that* big. Pretty common actually.

Another vote for Costco. They mounted 305's on my 12" wheels with no issues.

Discount Tire mounts my tires routinely with no issues

If curious, I specifically use the one in Hanover Park, on Irving Park Rd. They are very careful and courteous.

I have center locks on a TTS and discount tire did them (305/30/20) but I had to supply the tools (socket, torque wrench)
