soo seems the consensus is to pony up for the platinum warranty as that seems to cover PDK. Just so much more $ vs Gold vs Powertrain.

This thread (plus some items that already need to be fixed on my early, low mileage, 991.1) led me to buy the platinum warranty from Mossey motorsports. It was actually very cheap to have extra peace of mind (mostly because the low mileage), and I have a feeling I will see most of that back with the list of items that already need to be fixed on my new to me C2S.

Reading posts like this make all of us without warranties wish we had one and start the pricing process. 😂
But, I have to wonder how many actually do fail and sure it would not be easy find a failure rate on the PDK.

i think we all would like to know the PDK failure rate. Doesnt seem to be nay concrete numbers out there. I dont think it's very common. But as the saying goes, "it's not rare if it's in your chair."
