Fidelity Warranty- Michael Jordan

So I just got off the phone with Michael. Extremely nice guy and a pleasure to speak to. I was in the middle of either going with my CPO warranty which comes out to $2850. Or just save the money and add this Fidelity warranty prior to hitting 10,000 miles and that's where he said the price doubles.
Transfer to a new owner is $40 bucks. If you cancel it you'll get a prorated refund. This sounds like a smarter move to get this versus CPO.
5 yr 60k miles. 250 deductible. $2000.
Same with a $100 deductible is $2359
So the key is to add this as you get closer to 10,000 miles and that will extend you an additional five years or 60k miles from the date of purchase.
Any thoughts?

Where are you at with your current warranty, in regards to the in-service date and mileage?

And the current mileage is? Did you buy one? How much time would you lose if you went with the CPO as far as the expiration date?

1980 miles. The CPO was 2850 for 2 years. No refund if vehicle sold prior to end. The fidelity would be 5 yr for $2029 and can cancel if sold with pro rate refund. I'm waiting to buy till I get closer to 10k miles. Like mike told me price would be the same up till that number.

The 5 year from Mike starts when you buy the policy? Or when your current one expires? Sorry, I forgot.

It starts when you buy it. That's why I asked him how long i can wait before the price goes up. He said 9999 miles or less would be same price. So for me in essence I have 32 months left. If I wait one year I'll have 20 months plus his 60 months which would give me 40 months of extended coverage.

I could have bought one before 10k and really regret not doing so. The price gets ridiculous afterwards but I wasn't aware of the 10k threshold....until it was too late.

I hear you. I looked at every angle and the CPO didn't seem so special after looking at the numbers with mike and the ability transfer to a new buyer for $40 or canceling and getting a refund.

If the price does not increase very much it seems it best to buy within a few months of when the factory warranty or when just under 10k miles, whichever comes first.

I haven't used mine yet, but my dealer told me they are the only one that agreed to their rate book, others won't allow enough time for repairs so you're stuck paying for the rest.

Many here have reported that they received no hassles when using their Fidelity warranties ("Search" can be your friend).
