Fidelity warranty is worth your cars weight in goal. I dread 12/30/2020 when mine comes to an end on my 997.1 Turbo. Buy with confidence that you will be covered 99.9% of the time, depending on your service advisor

But it, stop wasting time and adding miles which will cause your policy to go up in price. They have replaced a turbo, and replaced my ignition coils, and some other random odds and ends.

My car is at the dealer now with a Sport Adaptive Seat bolster control issue...Going to be about a $1600 fix (with the labor rates from dealer already being approved by Fidelity) and parts coming from Germany. They are sending an inspector due to the price but as far as my service guy knows based on what they approved so far, everything should be covered, minus my $250 deductible.

I bought my Plat. warranty in Nov. 2018 and this is first claim. So far very smooth and am expecting to hear the inspector approved everything later today.

Good information. Keep us posted.
What is nice is that you can pick anyone to do the service, is that correct?

I will definitely keep ya'll posted. It's gone way smoother than I expected, to be honest. Of course my service guy at Hennessey deals with Fidelity often I guess, as he seemed very confident in getting it taken care of. The tech doing the work didn't even have to charge me any of the extra diagnostic hours (took him a while to pull the seat and find source of the problem) due to the fact that Fidelity agree to pay the hours they requested to do the work. That's awesome in my book.

As for using anyone, I'm not really sure about that part. I assume if it's a reputable company, Fidelity won't baulk at it.

I'm not wasting time. I have a year of CPO left and my car already has 27k miles (I actually drive it). The next threshold is 35k. I have already spoken with Michael about when will be the right time to pull the trigger. There is no reason to start coverage while I have coverage.

Yes, I bought mine a few hundred miles before I turned 35K miles. Saved a good bit by doing it then.
At 36,400 or so now and it's already paying off. I'm glad I made the purchase.

Great to hear. I have heard good things. I will pull the trigger later in the year.

Just got the text from my Service guy that the Fidelity inspector came and approved everything.

So, my first claim is behind me and I couldn't be more pleased with the level of service from Fidelity!

I had it on my B8 S4. They paid out a voltage regulator claim no questions asked. $600 or so, then I paid the $250 deductible. I then put a Fidelity Powertrain warranty on it after, since the Platinum was cost prohibitive with 50k miles at the time. That paid out an $11k transmission. So I would say it is worth it. My dealer had to really work with them to get the to cover it, so I would say having a good relationship with your dealer to advocate for you is very important. The Platinum warranty is much more straight forward and they would have a more difficult time denying a claim.
