Default 991.2 exhaust mod Shark Werks

Contacted Shark Werks about 4 months and asked what they had for 991.2 exhaust wise. Living in Ca. I didn't want to with reduced Cats.
At time of inquiry they were working on a viable idea. And contact later.
Well got a email a few days ago with their new application. https://www.sharkwerks.com/exhaust/p43947-sharkwerks-sport-exhaust-upgrade-for-pse-systems-for-991-2-carrera-s-gts-SHAX506
They are taking deposits on a near future run of exhausts delete.
I put a deposit down and looking at 2-3 weeks for delivery or I may go down for install.
Average time 2-2.5 hours and rear bumper doesn't need removing.

I saw this product announcement and video too and I'm also very interested. I need to hear it installed first before I make a decision. Luckily I'm only 20 minutes from SW so it should make it easy to swing by when they do their next install.

Looks similar to the Speedtech X pipe, except theres no crossover. Its not going to be that much louder than stock, the cats are where most of the volume comes from when removing or reducing cell count.

Ive heard a full Speedtech system (200 cell cats and X pipe), its just slightly more aggressive than the PSE and Sport Cat setup due to the removal of any resonation that previously existed in the PSE cat back

I'd like to hear how this sounds with some sport cats. Price point isn't absurd which is nice.

First I thought it is a before and after video because I couldn’t really hear any difference from stock :/
A video without stock reference is not ideal. Bet it sounds great in person.
but the real sound will always came from the cats and headers.

I keep thinking back to the best sounding turbo car I've ever driven, which is the one in my avatar. 3.4 twin turbo, but sounded like a 3.0-liter Carrera RSR. Friends didn't believe me...until they rode in it.

I remember it was a split pipe setup with one big oval on both sides. When the car was on a lift, you could look into one tip and see through to the other, or at least the light on the other side. I have to think something similar should be achievable with a modern 3.0-liter Carrera....

I must be deaf because I hear virtually no difference.

from I pulled off the video/ audio clip you can hear the difference on the first half of the Rev Run second half does sound the same.
Also when you decel the overrun is cut out of it about 3/4 worth.

First half of rev Run you can hear it 2nd half probably no difference.

But in case you do need a hearing aid

Thanks....ordered the hearing aid but not very optimistic that it will make a difference as to how the exhaust note sounds.

Not a GTS, but love mine. Lot of others do too. Vids towards the end of the thread, to include my own...

I have 991.2 T w/ SW exhaust but on 2/3 SW will help me put back to stock and I'll put mine up for sale if anyone is interested. DM me if anyone is interested.

The quality of the exhaust is incredible. The welding and fitments is top notch and the exhaust sound is louder and deeper. S S already shared the video so folks can make the judgements.
