turbo/cat heat shield removal? HELP???
Im installing cat bypass pipes. Have barely gotten started and am stuck removing the heatshield. Soul's instructions say that the "the two torx bolts on the turbo can be tough to see." Understatement. Im working on the right side of the car and have removed 3 of the 4 but cannot find the inner most bolt.
Anyone know where this bolt is located???

the shields are a pain to get off.....on passenger side I left that bolt on and took off the cat with it in place.
the oxcygen sensor is a little more tricky to get offwhen you leave shield on.
I eventually took off the rear wheel and could see it then when I did the swop the second time....(don't ask)
on the drivers side I could not get that screw in and I left it off......

Worth reviewing when modding 991.2 exhaust…

Three Wheelin'
Man, I was in your boat last weekend. Was thinking it was a good Presidents’ Day project. Jacked up cars, removed wheels, started to poke around.
Realized it was trickier than I expected. Especially didn’t like location of the forward O2 sensor. I even purchased the special 22mm O2 socket removal tool. I decided to put everything back on and take it to shop. Don’t regret spending an extra 500. Count number of turns when you remove them so you can pre twist the sensor before installing again.
Shop said the SOUL cats are the best fitting aftermarket they have ever installed. I like the new sound with. SPE open. Mutch deeper sound.
This is weekend I redeemed myself, put Pagid pads on. Two weeks prior installed harness bar, sub bar and 6 point harness system.

It's a pain to get to, but possible.
Removing the rear wheel and bumper brace helps a lot. Still very tight to get too.
Have a nice ratchet set
