Exhaust options 991.2

Wing: Any reason why you aren't considering Kline? I can tell you I have let 2 other 991.2 owners hear my system and they both bought the Kline based on how it sounds.
Less expensive than Akra primarily because its Stainless and not Titanium, but if you aren't tracking it and care about being 15lbs lighter (just a guess) then it has no bearing on performance.

The cheapest (about $2k installed on mine) and best and first sound upgrade are the cat delete pipes.
But that's not an option if you live in a greenie **** area with annual inspections up the behind of your 991.
If you like the PSE upgrade sound, that might be your best choice, depending on where you live.

Before I get the work done, I’ll enquire if they offer other systems.
Remus is not titanium either, costs quite a bit less than Akra, and is apparently slightly louder, but not obnoxiously so.
As you guessed, I have no plans to track the car, so the lighter weight of Akra is not a major issue for me.

911boy: yes, can smell some of that 93 octane when entering or leaving the garage, and once in a while at a stop with a breeze from behind. A little smells good to an old gearhead, but it's the exhaust sound that captivates. In Sport or Sport+ with PSE on, it sounds more like a 5 L NA than a 3.0 TT. Very impressive. But in Sport+ the loud whistles of the turbos at parking lot speeds let anyone nearby know that it has twin turbos. I'm not sure if 'race cats only' would produce the same great sounds, as I've never heard one with race cats.

Somewhat on topic but if someone to make their new exhaust look great send me a PM if you would like a pair of Black Chrome tips off my '19 GTS.

My 991.2 Carrera T has a full Kline Inconel system including headers, 200 cell cats and x-pipe, courtesy of 9e (UK). Sounds fantastic and with tune the car is now putting out 540-550PS. Stage 3 will see well beyond 600PS with bigger turbos and better intercoolers.
It's quite beguiling in a narrow bodied lightweight manual

I went with Soul Performance high flow cats, Fabspeed x-pipe, and Fabspeed matte black tips. I get some nice pops and burbles in sports mode. I do have PDK and there is some drone in the sub 2,500 RPM range which is handled by driving in sports mode or manual mode which is how I drive once oil temp is up near operating temp. I'll see if I can paste in a copy of a video I made.
Wow... So apparently it didn't upload in HD and it sounds pretty quiet... I'll have to look into that.

I know I'm banished from this thread since I own a rusty old 991.1 car. Just wanted to pile in on the fun and admit that i like the pops and crackles, too.
My wife and I always imitate those sounds when we drive the car, kind of like car karaoke, Porsche edition.

I own a 991.2 Carrera T, but I don’t let that stop me from commenting on threads about Targas, GTSs, PTS, 991.1s etc...!

I have the SpeedTech Switch-X system with their HJS hi-flow cats on my Carrera T (PSE) and it sounds great. The SpeedTech system is essentially a straight pipe as it deletes the muffler, but it does keep the keeps the valves. You can really hear the turbo's spool which is really cool.

I couldn't imagine going to an aftermarket system that has mufflers as my straight pipe system is not that loud. In fact, I wish it were louder. These flat six turbo charged motors are just not that loud.
If I had a non-PSE car I would go with the GMG straight pipe system:
