FYI ...this is the light spring

install is pretty straight forward and quick, but have to be careful as its very easy to scratch something.

unfortunately I wont be able to try it out for a few weeks.

very well built and solit, unlike the stock one which is mostly plastic.

The Carrera T shifter is pretty short due to the short shaft, which measure 3.25” and cannot be adjusted.
the Numeric shaft is adjustable, I got it down to 3”. Any further and the shift knobe will not lock in the groove.

but the mechanical feel is above and beyond the soft feel of the stock shifter.

anyone doing this, use thread sealant on the nut holding the adjustable shaft in place so it doesnt move which it can due to vibration.
i used green and not blue thread locker. Blue is more permanent than green.

That’s a great video and looks very solid and mechanical feeling. Very nice.

Just curious why these forums don’t have Like icons, or helpful icons, like other forums

Love my numeric. I have the heavy spring and I still enjoy it but should have went with the lighter spring. Either way made such a difference for my driving experience.

Finally got everything buttoned up last weekend and had a short drive.
The feel is mazing, the click/clangs have a nice feel to it
the throw is shorter than stock
so, very happy with the install.

I absolutely love my Numeric with the soft spring, just the right amount of tension for my DD. Makes me wonder how much more things could be improved with the cables...
