Wow, nice additional info that definitely should help others.

Just noticed Costco has Quickjack on sale until 11/17. $300 discount. Placed my order.

Thanks for the note! Ordered the 7000TL for my 991.2 CS2 with PASM. From all that I have read, it should fit. I like the idea of extra capacity to lift the SUV or truck. If the initial height clearance is tight I'll just park the 991.2 on some 1" or 2" boards and then slide the jacks under. I'll update when arrived / installed. Excited! Will make doing oil changes myself a no-brainer and in the end will pay for this easily.

The local Costco stores only carry the 7000TL as well and I am debating heading this route and also use for the Jeep/X3.

I have had a 7000 for years.Works fine on my 991.1 I had to purchase the extenders to be able to use it on my DD CTS4 and have no issues with my C7 and Avalanche. FWIW.

Read many of the threads on the QJ - so, if only using for 911, no reason to go for 7000 series, right?

QJ's site says frame weight difference is 20 pounds - is this per side (per frame) or for both? I could see 98 pounds being a PITA to hang somewhere!

Correct.. and yes my 7000XL are pretty big and heavy to move around. I leave mine on the garage floor center under my truck. There's wheels on one end, but still clumsy to move around.

OK - thanks!

Just ordered from HomeDepot - with military discount same price as Costco - and, I didn't have to "join" Costco. :-)

Have three vehicles to potentially lift at this point - 911.1, Subaru Ascent, and Chevy Colorado small truck.

So, do you use the slotted jackpads, the soft non-slotted or so method of using the Porsche fittings?

Mine came with 8 rubber blocks because I got it for a truck "XL" type so it can reach and the set I got has small blocks and large blocks.

With yours should be at least 4 rubber blocks that are used in the QJ tray that can be moved around and place to hit the jack point you want on the vehicle. Some people just use the pads at the jack point. But I went a step further to get the Porsche pucks make sure I'm lifting my car on the point correctly and are only $30. These should be able to twist in the jack point so that stay and then you just line up the rubber block as you lift the car.

Porsche Pucks.

Here's the link to what I purchased.

Ordered, thanks moto-geek!

Considering a set as flood insurance for here in SW Florida

Can confirm the 7000TL works fine on my ‘17 991.2 C2S with PASM. I cannot use the pucks that are sold here on the forum with the provided rubber blocks though. However with the tall blocks (3”) the car is sufficiently off the jacks. Very happy with the purchase as this model will give me plenty capacity to be used for the SUV and truck too. FWIW since there is the occasional comments on thread/seal leaks; I used the included fluid, glue like, thread sealer with 100% no leak result. Due to work I waited 72 hours before use, rather than the recommended 24 hours. Even my wife was impressed! 😀

Just got my 5000TL from Costco. Came with extra lift blocks and wall mounts for $1400. I used the included liquid Thread sealant and had hydraulic leaks on 3 of 6 NPT fittings. Changed to Teflon tape to eliminate the leaks. Used once and it worked great. I will say the system is not light, but it does seem sturdy and the locks and 1/2 and full height extension inspire confidence.

Just got my 5000TL delivered - from HD's shipping service ... looking forward, but may leave boxed for a couple weeks in case better deal pops over Tgiving!

Packaging nearly perfect!
