Had a 986 & now a 991.1 for a 110 mile round trip, 4 day/wk work commute thru la(many of the miles on the 405). Was rear-ended 3x’s in the 986, each time I was at a complete stop. Numerous door dings on the 986 from parking in a tight “doctors” lot(the sniping for primo spots was epic, esp. considering it’s all fellow colleagues, lots of pissed off physicians & dentists). Ended up getting a cpo’d Audi A4, then a Q5 to help split the commute up.
