My C2S was delivered to me with similar tire pressures to Minthral’s. I immediately noticed that something was off (sound, feel and ride) and it took a few minutes to determine pressures were set rediculously high. Since the drive home was approx 2 hrs., I pulled over and let out almost 5 lbs in the front and almost 10 lbs from the rears (pressures had already started to rise with 46 lbs in the rear). Not sure what the difference is between partial and full load in a sports car but I’d suggest starting with partial load comfort settings cold temps and go from there. My best settings with the C2S with PDCC was 30F/33R cold.

No all 4 PS4S. Mixing tire types is a big no-no especially in an AWD car.

29/33 psi for me and they handle great, much softer, quieter and better dry/wet traction than the P Zeros.

I don't track but was at a charity event at Palmer over the summer and had the opportunity to drive few charity-turned-hot laps. I threw everything I could at the car and it didn't even flinch. The tires are superb.
Pressure, balancing, test driving another car with the same tires, tech inspection are your next steps

It sounds like to me that your tire pressure is too high. Set your pressure to a Comfort Partly Loaded amd Give it a try. Should be a big difference.

I assume full load car holding weight? Meaning the more weight on the car the higher the PSI should be? Looks like heavier cars (PDK, AWD) call for more PSI.
No. It’s got nothing to do with the equipment on your car. Full load means 4 people and bags in frunk etc (adding ~ 600 odd pounds). Take the partial load comfort pressure on cold tires and use it. Maybe add 1 PSI to it.

This as well.

Actually I make it a +1 all around on comfort setting for C4S. 33/35.

Seems to be great in all driving situations even my limited novice track use.

I have cup2's. At the track with 40 PSI hot rear, i was skating on ice. Your pressures are way too high. For street i run 29 front, 33 rear. I start on track like that and keep bleeding them down, and down and down, as they skyrocket on the track.

Funny you should say that.

Had P Zeros before, never noticed what I notice now.

Now with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S I notice "vagueness" when going straight. Car feels great in a corner but going straight car seems to wander a bit and pick up every imperfection and seem to change course a lot. Kind of annoying on long drives as I seem to have to correct steering too often.

I had it aligned. Nothing really there.
Play with tire pressure. 33/36 cold. Still there. Maybe I need to go down in pressure.
Dealer gives it to me at 45 all around when they give it back! I guess I have to add "Do not change tire pressure" to "Do not wash" instructions.

"experienced" installer doesn't have GOOD experience. The PSI is too damn high.

I need to lower mine a bit and see how my car reacts.
I tend to stay near door stick pressures and have had pretty good luck in the mountains while driving quite quick.

I did however lower them when I went to the drag strip. Seemed to help my 60 ft. quite a bit.

I wonder why Porsche goes with P Zeros for its cars. I don't know anyone that stays with 'em once they wear out. I guess the answer is $$$.

Still on my OEM P0’s but find my GTS is very sensitive to pressures. To the point where +/- 3 psi off of (highly condition dependent) is very noticeable. I thought the PO’s were garbage until I got them dialed it for my preferences and conditions.

The higher pressures on the door sticker are recommended for a fully laden car at autobahn speeds (4 passengers, luggage, over 150 mph). That explanation is in the manual that came with the car.

I suppose dealers fill the tires to those PSI because they assume there must be some liability for them if they don't. In return you get even higher pressures as the tires warm up and a bumpier ride and greasier handling.

As many have posted, the "comfort" setting is a huge improvement in every way. Proper alignment makes a huge difference too.
