Carrera T + more power = the perfect driver's car?

Burning Brakes
I did 5 mil spacers all around & Akrapovic cats, pipe and valance. Super happy on a dyno jet dyno is was 383hp to the wheel 🤷🏼*♂️ I was gonna put springs on it to go a little lower but didnt get the factory raise kit and my drive sucks. Have a little road rash already from Rallys etc. T is one awesome car
fyi - my buddys stock GTS only pulls slowly from me iat the end of 3rd and 4th gets a car and 1/2 away

Wondering about this myself as the Technik Manual shows 406 lbs. ft. as max torque for 7 speed manual trans (GTS is 405 - imagine that!). Assume there is some safety margin but . . .

I think the torque limit is artificial e.g. peak torque for the 3l turbo is rated at 550Nm = 405/6 ft lb. Yet the cogs in the case of the PDK are from the turbo - the rating may reflect the clutch plates. However, if you tune the car and exceed 550Nm meters ................Porsche will have valid grounds to deny warranty for the transmission. Hence it is better to get the X51 turbos and tune to 550Nm e.g. you get the benefit of power across the whole curve rather than low end peaky delivery of some tunes on the OEM base turbos. Costs a little more but the outcome is better all round.

If you do the conversion from the 550 Newton - Meters to ft-lbs, it's 405.7 ft-lbs, which we engineers round off to 406. So there is no discrepancy.

What happens if you transplant the gts turbo but don’t do a tune? Slight less than 405 ft/lbs, Error codes?

What did you notice different after adding the 5mm spacers?

Maybe he already traded it for a GT350 🤔
If it's the 1st Porsche, they often aren't married. This one is my 10th Porsche since 1970, so I'm not going to another brand.

It better be. I want first gear back.
The whole point of a Porsche is to have all the traction possible.. While I'm not at 700hp I still have an unusable 1st gear on stage 2 and I'm beginning to spin 2nd.
If I were you I'd be eyeing down matching or beating a 720s. You need first gear.
Love your build so far.. I like your style. All action.
