You cant. Its locked to VIN. Needs to be an S. But u can buy the turbos for 4500 when its on sale. A tune friendly dealer can buy it from suncoast and then get a gts tune from giac. However, there are better turbo swaps out there for the $. You would also be at gts msrp with the turbo swap and the tune with install, although much faster. IMO most people with a manual T wont be able to handle the ferocity of this much power (myself included). TX has a million hp on his T and I bet its neck snapping. Dont know how he tames that beast, must be lighting up tires in 6th gear.

Per Renno.... a stage 1 tune and sports cats will easily gain you 80+ hp and 100+ ft-lb. all for $4000. Maybe better air filter.

Good tunes are offered by GIAC through many dealers, or COBB or HEX tune from VF Eng. There are others. SOUL have the best sport cats.

These 2-3 simple things will get a T into mid to low 3 sec sprints to 60 and faster than GT3’s in straight line acceleration

Hydra tune PDK did a 11.2 quarter with tune and exhaust only.

200 Soul cell cats on mine and same tune will be done at 1000 miles. Trying to be patient to wait until 1k miles as I know the car is supposedly transformed.

do we know the cause?
OP did a lot of work, TIAL turbos, custom tune etc. This is much different than a simple tune, ie a stage 1 tune and sports cats should be pretty safe and reliable as this is within GTS power band

I exchanged emails with the shop that did Josh's work overnight. No blown engine and they've done some more mods to his and other cars, all without any problems...
You can call it stirring the pot, or you can call it libel without cause... I call it BS and wish it would stop. And we wonder why folks stop posting here...
Some really good info on this thread, especially the limits not to exceed to avoid drivetrain drama and warranty issues.
Thanks guys!

thats what i figured just making sure. I did a 60-130 today for the second time at 9.48, with the manual. Stage 1 giac + breathing mods. These things rip. I dont think they are faster than a gt3. Close, but the gt3 is fast especially at speed where it can rev.

One is simply left to wonder when the OP disappears.

May Allah be with him.

They can be faster than a GT3/RS. I had a crazy photo finish race in the 1/2 mile vs a GT3. He jumped me by at least half a second and I was able to pull him in and just beat him at the finish line by a car or two.. about 8 mph faster trap speed.

Bismillah! A civil post...

And good on you, for taking a GT3. I too have found a couple of times where I was able to out run one. But few, and many, many more where it was no real contest. But, for my stock 'lil engine that could', it was eye opening... Usable torque, when you actually need it, in the real world, wins imo. And feels so dang good!
