I bit the bullet and purchased one off of eBay. Received it today. After all of the beautiful photos on this thread, and comments about quality and fit and finish, I have to admit I'm a little underwhelmed by the quality. The metal is pitted, dinged up, and you can see how the paint lines look. Share your thoughts? Not trying to bash the product, just wondering if these flaws are normal. I'd love to call the seller directly, bit as stated previously, been emailing for 6 mos with no response.

There are a few sellers of custom crests on ebay - are you sure it is from Carrera East Studios? If so you can return it along with a detailed list of what is not what you expected and he will correct it and send it back. For what it is worth, every one I have from Carreara East is perfect.

I agree, if you look at the pics in the link I posted it does not look like one of his, and I am very picky about such things and I went to my car and looked at mine and they are perfect so something is not right here.
Me, too, but I am still baffled as to what happened and I am sorry you did not get what you expected since I only refer people to products that I think at top-notch.

The edges could be cleaner. All the badges that I have seen have always looked excellent.
