I hope it’s just a vacuum line/clamp!

Haven’t heard back from them yet. Just got the reflashed ECU installed today. Took it for a test drive expecting everything to be fine. Still same lack of power. I emailed them but won’t hear back until Monday. Their service has been great for me so far so we shall see.

Also have a somewhat small amount of gas smell in the engine oil but oil level is normal. Along with some oil inside passenger side compressor housing and charge pipe heading towards intercooler. Anymore thoughts? I’ve heard of some oil in the passenger side turbo before due to the design, also I’ve heard issues with stuck wastegate actuator rods due to corrosion. Turbine has slight play but nothing unusual, it doesn’t touch the housing or show any signs of abnormal wear

The ecu unlock is a physical process, you are lucky that it was replaced under warranty even though dealer knew it was reflashed. Not every dealer would be so nice.
but you now you have burnt that bridge and won’t get another relplaced if its short again.

i plan on headers and cats but ecu tune would be last on my list.

Car is still having the same issue. I’ve spent numerous hours changing maps, boost leak testing, and emails back and forth with the guys at Cobb among several other things.

I have an appointment at AMS Performance in 2 weeks and they will be working directly with Cobb to determine the exact issue I am having. Will have updates hopefully by the second week of January

How did the car drive before the tune?

You are over a month with this issue and if you are correct in saying that it is continuing I want to know if you are happy with the Cobb response time and sense of urgency. I would be a maniac by now. I have their tune and no issues at all but I would want to know they would be all over an issue.

I figured I would give it a try with the new DME. If it doesn’t work I’ve been eye balling a GT3 anyways so I might dump this car off in the spring if AMS comes up with bad news in January.

car ran fine before tune. It runs fine with the AP uninstalled, just about a pound or two below factory boost. It barely reaches 15 psi with stage one tune which is way below what if should be. Factory should be 13 psi which it reaches around 11-12. Definitely interested to find out the culprit.

i cant say enough good things about Mitch, Aaron and the rest of the guys I’ve spoken with at Cobb. They are even taking care of the expense to bring it in to AMS for diagnosis. I believe they truly care about my situation and are working hard to figure it out.

That is great to hear. I have had only positive experiences with them and this is what should be happening. Good luck hopefully you will get it worked out and can enjoy your car.

no update yet. Car will not take a tune. I’m dropping the car off to AMS Performance next week so hopefully they solve the issue. I will update everyone once we have a diagnosis
