PCCB's are my only regret for not ordering on my '18 GTS. Not for the braking power, but simply the brake dust. Keeping the OEM wheels even marginally presentable with steel brakes is a royal pain in the ***. The only reason I didn't get them is I didn't like the yellow calipers on my Carmine Red car, and of course I'd be lying if I didn't say the price influenced me as well. Well, fast forward to today, and I am actually considering buying new wheels (and finish) that will hopefully make keeping them clean much easier. By the time I'm done it will likely have been cheaper to get the PCCB's, and they would still always be cleaner.
I went back on forth on several configurations, with PCCBs (and Burmester) being the last options I added. I was so on the fence for getting them but I had them on my previous 991.1S and loved the lack of brake dust and the feel. Then I saw the 991.2 versions - just massive looking - so I just decided to bite the bullet and get them.
Very happy that I did. 4,200 miles on my GTS so far and LOVE my PCCBs!
You guys are killing me here! Are there aftermarket options for upgrading to carbon ceramics? I am not cheap by any means but I will not spend $25-30k for Porsche parts.
If I have to invest 15K USD shall I upgrade PCCBs to my GTS or keep the brank new red calipers and upgrade the OEM Wheels and Pirelli with new lightweight wheels and Michelins?
I believe weight reduction with wheels is higher than PCCBs but value for money of PCCBs especially for after sales value is significant.
Any advice is more than welcome.
PCCB or lightweight wheels?

The advantage of PCCBs is more than just reduction of unsprung mass (which is not insignificant); it's more about their fade resistance. You won't gain any significant increased stopping distance, but you will maintain that same stopping distance on your first lap as you would on your last lap, which is something the OEM iron rotors are not capable of.
As to cost, all I know is that purchased and configured as an option from the factory, the PCCBs are a bargain, compared to buying replacement OEM PCCBs after the fact.
How about an aftermarket CCB upgrade from Brembo or the other UK company? I know they would not be stock PCCBs but if they are everything the stock ones are for less money why not?
My opinion.... if you have the disposable cash, why not. Otherwise, not worth it. The car stops fantastically without them. Pretty expensive way to avoid brake dust, IMHO.

Very true.

My SA talked me out of them, as well as many here, but now if I had to do it over again I would to avoid the brake dust on my Black wheels. However, I am looking at other options such as Brembo or the UK company vice the PCCBs to save some coin.
There is a reason they are 9k, best brake I have ever had on a car. Should be on every car, but they are 9k and only for those that breath rarified air. If your spending 130k on a car, what’s another 9k between friends😂

I was at $165k without them and again, it would have had them if I were not talked out of them, but it was my money so I have no one to blame. My Indy shop is looking into options but if someone else can help please let know.
